Bio Medical Waste Management 

The hospital is authorized by the Tamilnadu Pollution Board for management and handling of Bio- Medical waste.

The housekeeping department is responsible for the collection of Bio-Medical waste in appropriate color coded poly bags/ containers from all patient care areas of the hospital. Bio-Medical waste is should not be mixed with any other waste. The collected waste is temporarily stored in a designated Bio-Medical Waste room.

Ramky Energy and Environment Ltd. is responsible for transportation of Bio-Medical Waste from the Hospital to their site of treatment in a covered van and treatment the Bio-Medical waste is done as per regulation.
